The Doyle Moats Family is originally from Franklin, WV. We moved to Harrisonburg, VA in 1999 and currently reside in  Linville, VA. Our first CD, "Just the Beginning" was released in October 2006. The title of our second CD, "Broken Man's Prayer" originated from the song our family wrote and is based on how even through hard times, you can always call upon our Heavenly Father. The Moats Family was awarded song writers of the year 2008 by the Country Gospel Music association for Broken Man's Prayer. 

The title of our 3rd CD "From The Heart" was given to us by a dear friend who along with many others felt that our music was coming from our hearts.

Doyle Jr got married in 2008 and decided to leave the group and begin his own ministry. you can find Jr online at www.doylemoatsjr.com.

Doyle Sr and Wesley by the grace of God has a new group of musicians, the group will still be called Doyle Moats Family because we truly are one big family.
